Stripper Mantra


What's your 'Stripper mantra' for the next time you work?

Skeptical? Try it!

Before you go back to the club think of three things that you will do for that shift.

An example:

1. Smile until it hurts!
2. Don't let negative people get to you.
3. Ask every single customer that I can for a dance.

What's your stripper mantra going to be?

Whatever works keep doing it. What doesn't work replace it with a new mantra. Maybe try it again another time.

What might work for some is to write it down. Get a small notebook, index cards, a pretty diary or whatever you prefer - write the date, day, and your three mantras. At the end of your shift or the next day write down how long you worked for and how much you made for that night.

You could even rate your stripper mantra card with stars. Did you have a five star night or was it just two stars?

You don't have to do this every day, or be exact - just do it when you remember.

If you ever get in a slump refer to the nights that you made a lot of money or choose a specific a day (ex. Saturday) where you did really well.

This is helpful because you predetermine being in a good mood and have a good idea what hustle you're going to use that night. If you know you should be doing certain things, and don't do them, this is a good way to correct 'bad behavior'.

Instead of saying:

I'm not going to sit in the dressing room all night and mope if it's bad

- say -


I'm going to be on the floor every chance I get!

Being in a good mood on a regular basis will help you get through the tough times. It's hard to get burned out when you have a positive attitude and a plan!
